Hornets making a buzz with the bookies : Watford lead the way for Premier League punters
The top four in the Premier League table may contain few surprises with Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool all tipped to challenge.
But it’s one of the less fancied top flight teams that is currently leading the way when it comes to bringing in the most profit.
With each side having played eight matches so far this campaign, sports betting site NetBet have looked at how much profit each would have returned based on a £10 bet to win every fixture.
The results? Watford lead the way and by some distance!
Netbet IconVictories on the road at West Ham and Middlesbrough along with their big odds triumph over Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United, have seen the Hornets pull in £71.20 profit for punters so far.
That’s significantly more than second place Arsenal (£38.20) and third place Manchester City (£30.60). Walter Mazzarri’s men travel to Swansea on Saturday and will be confident of bagging another profitable win.
Newly promoted Burnley also find themselves in the top five profit teams so far, thanks largely to their 7/1 victory against Liverpool.

Defending Champions Leicester City, who boast a perfect record in the Champions League so far, are proving less attractive a proposition for punters in the Premier League and would thus far have lost backers £42.70.
